My explanations focus on the patterns required to pass the driving test.
The study materials are designed specifically for passing the test, divided into the patterns examiners frequently check, and each key point is explained in a clear and easy-to-understand way. For example, you will learn exactly “This is the key point to passing the test when you drive.”
In addition to theory, I provide detailed instructions on specific driving actions, such as “Turn the steering wheel this many degrees in this situation” or “Stop at this exact position when turning right or left.”
Even when driving the same course, the points where people lose marks vary, but there are typical patterns for point deductions. My explanations summarize practical driving methods to avoid these common mistakes, using language that even beginners can easily understand.
I also share insights based on my experience about what examiners focus on and what points they use to judge pass or fail. This is not just simple driving practice – the curriculum is designed to teach you “the driving skills you need to pass the test.”
For many years, I have been teaching foreign license conversion applicants the know-how for passing the practical test on the actual test course.
The lesson level is set slightly higher than the real test.
By setting the passing standard at 120% — that is, 20% higher than what the examiners require — students are able to perform at 100% on the test day.
This “slightly strict practice” builds confidence and calmness for the actual test. By getting used to challenging maneuvers and situations during practice, you will be prepared to stay composed even when unexpected events occur on the test day.
After lessons, students often say: “Mr. Ueno, your required level was too high (laughs). The examiner wasn’t this strict, but I passed on my first try. Thank you!”
I believe this feedback proves that the higher lesson standard directly leads to a higher pass rate.
Everyone feels nervous during the real test.
If you assume that this nervousness might lower your performance, the correct approach is to be as well-prepared as possible before the test.
Through pre-lesson route explanations, examiner’s point-of-view checklists, and recreating common trouble spots, I help students face the real test with confidence.
This is not just driving practice – this is “strategic training designed to guarantee your success.” If you want to pass the test on your first try, this well-prepared method is the fastest route to getting your license.
