Locations of examination centers

This section provides information about the locations of driving license test centers and licensing centers in the Kanto region. For foreign license conversion, you must take the test at the center located in the prefecture where you reside. For example, if you live in Kanagawa Prefecture, you cannot take the test in Tokyo or Saitama. We recommend that you check the location of the test center in your prefecture in advance before starting your preparations.

Fuchu Exam Center

Since the Driver’s License Center is located far from the nearest train stations, it is recommended to use a bus or taxi for access.

• JR Musashi-Koganei Station (South Exit):
  Take a Keio Bus bound for Chofu Station North Exit, Tama-cho, Tama-Reien Station, or Musashi-Sakai Station South Exit.
  Travel time: 15 minutes.
• Tama-Reien Station (Keio Line):
  Take a Keio Bus bound for Musashi-Koganei Station South Exit.
  Travel time: about 15 minutes.
• Chofu Station (Keio Line, North Exit):
  Take a Keio Bus bound for Musashi-Koganei Station South Exit.
  Travel time: about 30 minutes.
• JR Musashi-Sakai Station (South Exit):
  Take a Keio Bus bound for Musashi-Koganei Station South Exit.
  Travel time: about 35 minutes.

The parking lot is quite small, and it tends to be crowded between 8:30 and 11:00 AM, making it difficult to find a spot.

Chiba Makuhari Driver's License Center

There is only 1 exam center in Chiba prefecture.

There is only 1 exam center in Saitama prefecture.

  Take a "Rebus" bus bound for the Driver’s License Center from the JR Kanuma Station bus stop.
• From Shin-Kanuma Station (Tobu Nikko Line):
  Take a "Rebus" bus bound for the Driver’s License Center from the Tobu Shin-Kanuma Station bus stop.

Take the Sotetsu Bus bound for "Driver’s License Center Loop (Unten Menkyo Center Junkan)".

Get off at the "Driver’s License Center" stop.
