Benefits of This Course

General Roads: Mastering the Differences Between Japanese and Overseas Laws

Adapt to Japan’s unique driving conditions such as left-side traffic and intersection rules. By understanding differences from your home country, you can prevent unexpected violations or accidents. Build a solid foundation for safe driving through real road practice.

City Driving: Mastering Violation-Free Driving

It is important to correctly understand rules such as stop signs, right-of-way, and parking regulations. Japanese urban areas have many pedestrians and bicycles, requiring extra caution. Through practice, you will gain the ability to drive smoothly while avoiding violations.

Highway Driving: Building Confidence on Real Roads and Expressways

Experience highway-specific maneuvers such as merging and lane changes. By adapting to fast-flowing traffic, you will gain confidence to drive safely. Even first-time drivers can learn safely with the instructor riding along.

Driving Safely in Japan

Increase in Accidents Among Drivers with Overseas Licenses
Recently, traffic accidents involving drivers who obtained licenses abroad have been increasing.
The background includes insufficient understanding of Japanese traffic rules and differences in driving habits compared to their home countries, creating an urgent need for countermeasures.

If You Commit Traffic Violations or Accidents
Foreign drivers who commit violations may face fines, penalty points, and even impacts on their visa renewal.
For some companies, this can negatively affect employment or contract renewal.
Additionally, license suspension or higher insurance premiums may directly interfere with daily life and work.

Loss of Social Trust
Traffic violation records remain officially documented, which can cause loss of trust from companies or staffing agencies, leading to difficulty finding work.
Frequent violations or accidents can cause a significant rise in car insurance premiums, and in some cases, insurers may refuse coverage.
This may force reliance on public transportation, making it difficult to continue working in rural areas or at night shifts.

What You Gain After Completing the Course

Better Understanding of Rules:

You will reliably follow Japan’s unique traffic regulations (signs, stop rules, right-of-way).

Improved Judgment in City Driving:

You will develop sharper responses to intersections and pedestrians, along with safe decision-making habits.

Increased Confidence on Highways:

Through practice of merging and lane changes, you will improve speed awareness and distance judgment, enabling safer driving.

Mastering Japanese Driving Etiquette:

Learn Japan-specific manners such as turn signal timing and pedestrian priority, allowing smooth and natural driving.

Greatly Reduced Accident Risk:

By shifting from self-taught driving to Japanese standards, you can prevent troubles caused by insufficient checks or merging errors.
