Fee for Beginners Lessons

1. Purpose of Contract

This contract establishes terms for driving instruction services provided by Kiki Driving School to the Client, who agrees to adhere to the school’s policies and guidelines for obtaining a Japanese driver’s license.

2. Program Overview

Kiki Driving School offers a comprehensive program guiding students through the two-step licensing process in Japan, covering both the Learner’s Permit and Driver’s License preparation. Each step includes both a written test and a practical driving test.

3. Course Fees

• 8-Day Program: ¥297,000
• 7-Day Program: ¥278,000
• 6-Day Program: ¥259,000

5. Refund and Cancellation Policies

Cooling-Off Period

In accordance with the Specified Commercial Transactions Act, if the course duration exceeds two months or the total payment exceeds ¥50,000 (tax included), the Client may cancel the contract within the cooling-off period. After the cooling-off period, the Client may still request mid-term cancellation under certain conditions.

Mid-Term Contract Cancellation

Post-Payment Non-Refundable Fees: After full payment, the following fees are non-refundable, even if no lessons are taken:

• Book Fee: ¥9,000
• Online Content Provision Fee: ¥24,500
• Administrative Processing Fee: ¥3,000

Total Non-Refundable Fees: ¥36,500

Training Refund Policy: No refund will be provided for the portion of training already attended. If there are remaining lessons, a prorated refund may be calculated after deducting the non-refundable fees listed above.

Mid-Term Cancellation Conditions

Mid-term cancellation is possible if there are remaining lessons within the designated course period. The cancellation date is based on when the Client notifies Kiki Driving School in writing, via the LINE app, or by SMS, and receipt is acknowledged by the school.

Cancellation by a Minor

If the student is a minor, a parent or legal guardian must submit the cancellation request.

Completion and Expiration Conditions

No cancellations are permitted once all scheduled lessons have been completed or the course period has ended, regardless of the reason.
All contracts expire three years from the original start date. No refunds will be provided after three years.

5. Course Schedule and Structure

• Learner’s Permit Program: 3-day driving lessons, each session lasting 3 hours.
• Driver’s License Program: 5-day driving lessons, each session lasting 3 hours.

6. Study Materials and Requirements

Kiki Driving School will provide study materials, including textbooks and sample tests.

7. School’s Responsibilities

• Provide professional instructors and well-maintained vehicles.
• Ensure lessons are conducted according to schedule.
• Offer guidance and support for both the written and practical exams.

8. Student’s Responsibilities

• Review all study materials and complete mock exams as advised.
• Attend all scheduled lessons on time, adhering to school policies.
• Complete necessary arrangements for written and practical test bookings.
• Follow Japan’s traffic laws, school guidelines, and safety instructions.

9. Additional Certifications

Clients are required to complete a First Aid Certification for the driver’s licensing process. The school will assist in booking a spot for the lecture post Learner’s Permit achievement.

10. Safety and Liability

The School ensures a safe learning environment and controlled practice areas. The Client must comply with all safety instructions. The School is not liable for incidents resulting from disregarded instructions.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this contract if obligations are not met. Non-payment, disruptive behavior, or noncompliance with guidelines will result in termination without refund.

12. Governing Law

This contract is governed by the laws of Japan.
